STEAM Summer Camp Options

1. LEGO Robotics - very popular course that fills up quickly so don't hesitate!

Participants will design, program and build robots using LEGO Mindstorms EV3 kits.  Students learn engineering, design concepts, mathematics, and programming.  Students learn about gear ratios and how to use sensors.  Students will program robots to do various dances, complete mazes, and more in collaboration with fellow students.  A truly outstanding course subtly sharpening critical thinking and life skills in a fun environment!  We recommend this camp for children entering 2nd - 8th grade; however, children entering kindergarten and 1st grade will enjoy it as well with a little more help from fellow campers or instructors.  Participants may select from one to ten weeks.

2. Rocket Science

This camp will focus solely on rockets and the physics of rocket flight.  Campers will build different types of rockets and participate in rocket launches during the week-long program.  We recommend this camp for children entering 2nd - 8th grade; however, children entering kindergarten and 1st grade will enjoy it as well with a little more help from fellow campers or instructors.  A choice of one to ten weeks is available.
