PETREA WHITTIER (Shakespearean Actress)
Ms. Whittier is a recent graduate of Muhlenberg College with English and Theatre degrees. Last year she worked as both an actor and teacher for the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company. She acted in educational productions for middle and high school students and also led classes teaching students how to perform and understand Shakespearian text. She has experience teaching students ages 6 to 18.

JASON CIANO (Certified Chess Master)
JASON CIANO is a cheerful, fun-loving sports fan who started out with two main passions: bridge and chess. In bridge, he achieved the rank of International Master, and in chess, he can usually be found playing leapfrog with the USCF and FIDE master titles. Chess was Jay’s first love, and over the course of 25 years as a player and coach, he has taught hundreds of children and adults the secrets of the Royal Game. Jason has earned chess certifications that include FIDE National Instructor, USCF Chess Coach Level III, and USCF Tournament Director. He has worked with the NYC school district and has coached both individuals and teams to victories in national scholastic championships and cash tournaments, as well. Jason continues to improve his own chess by studying with Grandmasters Giorgi Kacheishvili and Alexander Stripunski, and he competes in major chess tournaments around the globe. |

Fairy Tale Theatre (Ages 2 - 5) - $299 for 5 classes
Course Description: Do you often catch your little one singing songs when no one is listening? Do they love to dance? This class is designed for your miniature drama King or Queen to learn to express themselves creatively while learning the most basic fundamentals of performance. This class emphasizes singing, acting, and dancing, but we'll also do some crafts. All of this culminates in a mini-performance at the end of a 5 week session. CHESS for Beginners (Ages 3.5 - 5) - $299 for 5 classes
Course Description: Students will gain an understanding of the chess board, pieces, how they move, and some basic openings, endings, etc. from a very experienced chess master! Choose any day: MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY Time Options: 1:45 - 2:45 PM | 2:45 - 3:45 PM | 3:45 - 4:45 PM | 4:45 - 5:45 PM The 4:45 - 5:45 PM time will NOT be available on Thursdays!
